EDITOR'S NOTE
Everyday, we get up and make choices. We set out to either follow our routines or take a risk, make a statement or stay silent, stay where we are or move on. Our lives are in our hands and time may feel endless. However, there are certain moments where we are faced with change and must learn to adapt; we must think out of the box from our usual choices and learn to step out of the box. Overcoming those changes and not letting obstacles get in your way is no easy task. It takes courage to live, and breaking through those barriers within our lives is a sign of strength. Some may tell you that the barriers you face in life are there for a reason, or that you should never step past them, but what about what lies beyond those barriers? Wouldn’t our world be so dull if we stayed behind them?

Whether it be going against the struggles of emotions, society, or even yourself, know that there can be more to life once you break and go beyond those barriers.
